Plaza Libertad (Plaza Alfonso XII), Iloilo
Plaza Libertad is the plaza for La Punta de Iloilo. Formerly known as Plaza Alfonso XII, it is surrounded by the Iglesia de San Jose de Placer (Church of Saint Joseph).Iloilo City was the last capital of Spanish Empire in Asia and they surrendered the Philippines revolutionary led by Gen. Martin Delgado with strong American forces in 25 December 1898 after one week the government was transferred to Iloilo City temporarily after Manila had already fallen to invading American forces in August 1898.

Iglesia de San Jose de Placer, the first church built in the city of Iloilo located in front of Plaza Libertad (Plaza Alfonso XII) was the centre of Spanish colonization in Iloilo.

It was not so good conditions to view Iloilo City from the air, but I took some pictures between clouds. It is tiny urban area of central Iloilo City laying between the Iloilo Strait and Iloilo River.

I made a flight with PR141 at 9:35 for Iloilo City from Manila, town centre of San Miguel Municipality was seen just before the landing at the Iloilo Airport.
In-flight Lunch JL741 from Narita to Manila
Approximately after one hour of taking off of JL741 at Narita Internationl Aiport, lunch was served and I selected western meal. Unfortunately this was improper meat quality so I just tasted a peace of the meal.
