Paul in JR Shinagawa Station, Tokyo

PAUL, bakery shop, in Tokyo, not in Paris, and is located in the JR Shinagawa Station. They serve bread based menu and drinks, a coffee, light taste coffee, costs 346 Yen which is quite expensive now a day, however it is convenience location, in the station, if ti may say so that. This is current trend of a new commercial area.

Japanese Restaurant "Nikiya 二木屋", Kita-urawa

This is a Japanese restaurant located in an residential area in Urawa, Saitama, suburb of Tokyo. The building is a typical Japanese house and converted to restaurant. The building is registered as the historical Japanese heritage, but it looks a large house with gardens in this area.

They serve Kaiseki Cuisine 会席料理 (course menu) in different month, and lunch and dinner. The restaurant name is Nikiya 二木屋, and it is 8 minutes from JR Kitaurawa Station by foot.

Chuginn Capsule Tower Building by Kisyo Krokawa

Chugin Capsule Tower Building was demolished and one of the comportment of the building, a capsule, is presented at the Urawa-Kita Park, where MOMAS designed by Kisyo Kurokawa is located.

Oguiss's Exhibition at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi

Takanori Ogisu (Oguiss) exhibition 110 years anniversary of his birth was held at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi. It was the last schedule of the exhibition for there places in Japan and closed on 16the of January 2012. Large number of his paintings, oil painting only, had been presented covers Paris and Venice. This was one of the best exhibition I ever attended.

MOMAS; Museum of Modern Art, Saitama

There is an art museum near by my temporary house in Kita-urawa, Saitama, it is called MOMAS, Museum of Modern Arts Saitama. Now Henri Le Sidaner exhibition is on going till 5th of February 2012.

This museum was built in 1982 and designed by Kisyo Kurokawa, world famous Japanese architect.There is English page at the web site.

日本の美ー着物 Kimono; Japanese Arts

Kimono which is Japanese traditional cloth and is extremely beautiful fabric (silk) and exquisite work of dying with colourful design. This was presented at a department store at Takashimaya  Shinjyuku. This department store's main business was selling kimono in the past now a day, it a part of their business.

Department store in Japan in general, the first floor is dominated by international brand shops, e.g. HERMES, CHANNEL, PRADA, etc. and Kimono shop has been put at upper floor currently. However it is presented such Japanese art at entrance of the first floor.
