Nadia Comaneci Perfect Tens

Nadiaa Comaneci of Romania, she had perfect tens at Montreal Summer Olympic held in 1976. I just remember her performance scenes.

Nadia got perfect score of 10.00 during the team portion of the competition on the uneven bars when Nadia was the age of 14. It was the first time in modern Olympic gymnastics history that the score had ever been awarded.

The scoreboards were equipped to handle three digits only that Nadia's perfect marks, 10.00, were reported on the boards as 1.00 instead shown in following YouTube video. Over the course of the Olympics, Nadia earned six additional 10s.

It must be "Sago Palm (Metroxylon)".

I found a huge size of vegetable at central market of Iloilo when I was exploring flower market for All Saints' Day. I have never seen this before, and I asked a seller that what it is. She said it is a kind of coconut or palm. However I could not realized it at that time, and I got a image later that it might be Sago palm. I have heard that starch is extracted from Sago Palm in South East Asia.

If it is so, it is called Metroxylon Sagu.

Russia and North Korea sign rail link deal

Russia and North Korea began the reconstruction of a railroad from Russia's Khasan to North Korea's sea port of Rajin, VLADIVOSTOK, October 4, 2008 (RIA Novosti) . The Khasan-Rajin railroad (54km) project includes reconstruction of the railway and construction of a container terminal at Rajin port. The project is estimated at US$207 million.

Russia intends to connect Rajin and the rest of North Korea to Trans-Siberian Railway via Far Eastern Railway. The railroad was originally meant to run from Seoul to Sinuiju, a city on DPRK's border with China, and it is leading to Busan, southern end of the Korean peninsula.

The project would eventually link South Korea's and Japan's export-driven economy to markets in Europe over the Trans-Siberian railway, cutting transit times and costs. Cargo transshipment from Asia to Europe along the route will take 14 days, while sea freight shipping takes 45 days.
